We offer Internships and Apprenticeships to work on the farm.
Internships are programs for college student credits or those with more advanced and reliable farming/agricultural experience, interested in a work for living exchange. You would be provided with room and board, including food, internet, and laundry. Interns will be asked to provide an average of 35 work hours per week.
Apprenticeships are for those with little or no experience looking to learn to learn about agricultural systems, farming, permaculture, bee keeping, soil/composting, carpentry/wood working, or other variations of farm life. You would be closely worked with over the course of your stay to help guide you through the completion of a project of your own choosing or of a project that must need be done on the farm. We ask that apprentices stay for 6 weeks and pay $150 to cover their cost of living. Apprentices will be asked to provide an average of 30 work hours per week.
Regardless of which program you are eligible for you will have your own bed, internet, food, and laundry. You will need to assist in the maintenance and cleaning duties of the house which are not included in your work hours.
We encourage all those interested in pursuing an internship or apprenticeship at the farm to send us an application.
